Here’s a little about me! I was born in Houston Texas, and lived there all of my adolescence. My parents both painted, I called it garage art! They used oil paints, which back then really had a strong smell. I can still remember the linseed oil, the turpentine and the paints. I didn’t start painting until Covid hit. I was on the Internet, bored to tears and came across a lady that was teaching acrylic art in a way that I had never seen. It was with a pallet knife with thick modeling paste, so that the trees that we painted stood up off the canvas.

 It was like a lightbulb went off in me. I joined up with her. and absolutely loved doing what she was teaching us. But as time we’re on, I realize that I was still not quite satisfied. She was teaching us, but I wasn’t learning about me. I didn’t have my voice. So I struck out and start looking again.  Taking what she taught me and putting it with, what I now know is resin art. I love using it! I love doing it. I love the bling. I love the beauty of it. I know it’s not for everybody, but when you love it, you love it and you know it!
